In the group project I think the biggest struggle would have to be making decisions when it regarded to editing. When editing we had trouble finding the correct music it seemed like nothing quite fit the tone of our video. Another issue we had was dealing with deciding on font, Olivia couldn't make up her mind. Some were "too round" and others are "too narrow" and shes really picky, other than that it went on pretty well and ran smoothly.

The Creative Process
As an art major I can confidently say that the creative process is not easy. Ever since I was little I have always loved to draw, and it has always been a part of my life. I've taken multiple art classes that have contributed to the range of skills in my possession; however, there are days when it feelings like your work is just "meh". If you don't know what I mean by "meh", I mean inadequate, sub par, okay, nothing special, and just plain boring. On the other hand there are days when creativity is overflowing and overwhelming, where you can feel a masterpiece reaching from your mind to your hands begging to be created. I think the video misses the point of that, although I understand what it is saying that there are hard times where creativity is stifled and you feel uninspired and empty, but it is worth it for the wealth of creativity to rush over you at the right moment to create the perfect piece of work. Creativity is something special, to me it is something intertwined with thought and emotion. I believe it influences every aspect of our life and that it is vital to every aspect of our life. I imagine a world without creativity is black and white, with an absence of color. Creativity is the drive behind musicians and artists and composers and architects, creativity is the drive behind society.

The thing that surprised me the most about making videos, was the detailed process that goes in to storyboards. As an art major when I look at things like Avatar and I think about how long it takes to complete a drawing, even just a simple sketch, amazes me that the artists do 15,000 drawings per episode. That is just crazy.

Now that I have completed the first unit, I would have to say that html was the hardest thing to do. Although I have interacted with computers before I had never actually looked at how websites are set up and made. The easiest thing to understand and execute would have to be embedding videos, it was pretty straightforward. The most rewarding part of this section would have to be when the actual website was complete, because it took so many failures and I restarted so often I felt a sense of satisfaction when it was done. Outside of this course I hope to improve my web skills; however, I do not feel as if I will get very far.

The video called "Sight" is really trippy to me. Even though it is just a "what if" situation, it is a really scary thought that we could be manipulated by technology like that. Suppose that one day we do have the type of technology that is that interactive with our daily lives, would we be able to control someone else? I believe that we will have technology similar to that, but not to the extent of having the ability to control another person.

In the first three weeks of web design I have learned more than I expected.
I learned how to work with blogs, which I had never done before. I learned how to code html. I learned how to work with dreamweaver. Even though I am technologically challenged I managed to be slightly successful, which I think is pretty fantastic.

Although there were three videos, the last video really stood out to me. Everyday we interact with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media cites. We often forget that when we post information online, it is gone forever. Once we click send that picture, tweet, message, or post is no longer ours. The third video really demonstrated how dangerous the internet can be, and how we need to be concerned about how "safe" our private information actually is.
